About this session
Eastern India brings together large energy demand, power and fuel infrastructure, refining and petrochemicals, metals and mining clusters and access to ports and regional markets. The opportunity is to connect these assets into a stronger energy ecosystem that can support the region’s next phase of growth. Realising this potential will require coordinated investment across power, fuels, transmission, ports and logistics. Faster project development, predictable policy frameworks and bankable projects will be important to attract private capital at scale. The discussion will focus on the energy infrastructure priorities that can unlock growth, how government and industry coordinate investment, and what will make Eastern India more competitive for domestic and global capital.
